After a fall you find something stuck into them .. that wasn't there before.

Do not remove it !!

​You may cause an arterial bleed when you remove it 

​stabilise the object until emergency services arrive

The object could be a lever , a foot peg, a spoke or a piece of landscape around the track - keep it still - reassure the patient , tell them not to pull it out either

Control bleeding: Apply firm, direct pressure to the wound edges around the object. Avoid putting any pressure directly on the object itself. 

Stabilize the object: Surround the base of the object with bulky dressings (like gauze, rolled bandages, or clean folded clothing) to keep it from moving

Secure the padding: Wrap bandages or clean cloth tightly over and around the bulky padding to lock the object in place. If it's protruding from an eye, gently place a paper cup over it without putting pressure on the eyeball itself, and secure the cup to the face.

Keep still and monitor: Keep the injured person as still as possible until paramedics arrive and monitor them for signs of shock

At the beginning of this section i said dont remove it ... however if it was blocking the airway or stopping the ability to give CPR i would
